It had been a long time coming, but it finally did happen. My daughter and I were able to make a trip to Taos, New Mexico recently to get a chance to catch up with each other and to share some quality father/daughter time and to experience some of the magic that the Taos area has to offer. In this area there is the art, the light, the food, the craftsmanship, the mystical and the religious plus a few other fun and interesting traits and qualities that make this such a fun place to visit. The lizard and the yarn pictures were taken outside of a couple of the wonderful and varied shops and galleries that are near the Plaza downtown. The fossil fern picture was take at a labyrinth on the southern outskirts of Taos that we had the pleasure to walk and reflect. The ragged prayers flags were shot at the Kagyu Mila Guru Stupa just north of Questa, NM. What a beautiful place!
This is the first chance I got to play with my new Canon 60D and I had so much fun with it. I will be posting more pictures from our trip in the near future.
